Filmska proganda - uvod u holokaust

Abstract

U radu se razmatra mesto filma kao moćnog propagandnog sredstva u nacionalsocijalističkom programu konačnog rešenja jevrejskog pitanja u Nemačkoj i mesto filmske propagande u sprovođenju programa uništenja Jevreja na dva susedna područja razbijene Kraljevine Jugoslavije, na području nemačkog Vojnoupravnog zapovednika Srbije u Nezavisnoj Državi Hrvatskoj u Drugom svetskom ratu.

Soon after its discovery, the film became a strong propaganda instrument. In national-socialist Germany a comprehensive state control of the media had been established. The film became one of the most powerful means for dissemination of the new world outlook. Anti-Jewish films have been shown in the territory of the broken-up kingdom of Yugoslavia, while their reception and impact on the public differed. In the German occupation territory in Serbia, these movies did not attract much audience. On the contrary, when these movies were shown in the Independent State of Croatia, they incited violence towards the Jews and their property.
