Jevrejska figura pisanja - put ka Drugom

Abstract

Pojam jevrejske figure pisanja koji ovde pokušavamo da definišemo oslanja se na nekoliko pojava u širokom i razuđenom korpusu poststrukturalističke misli. Ako bismo ga analizirali reč po reč videli bismo da se prvi deo sintagme oslanja se na Fukoa i jednog od njegovih najvernijih učenika u oblasti istorije medicine i istorije naučnog rasizma (što se veoma često podudara) Sandera Gilmana. Drugi njen deo baziran je na sjajnom eseju Džefrija Hartmana o Henriju Džejmsu koji nozi naziv „Figura u tepihu“, odnosno radi se o dekonstruktivističkoj školi sa Jejla koju su predvodili Derida i de Man. Treći, možda i najznačajniji član sintagme uključen je u nju pod uticajem Rolana Barta koji je svojom distinkcijom tekstova na čitateljske (lisible) i spisateljske (scriptible) otvorio prostor za govor o figuri pisanja, o figuri mnogoznačnosti, o figuri otvorene referencijalnosti, o svemu onome što bi jevrejska, ali i svaka druga figura pisanja, trebalo da nosi sa sobom.

The notion of the Jewish figure of writing which we try to define here is based on three different post-structuralist thought topics. In the phrase the adjective Jewish is based on the Foucault heritage in Sander Gilman's work in the history of medicine seen as a history of scientific racism. The figure in the phrase is based on Geoffrey Hartman's text „The Figure in the Carpet“. Finally the last part of the phrase, the noun „wiritng“ leans on the fine difference between lisible and scriptible texts as posed by Roland Barthes. In short, when we use The Jewish Figure of Writing we are talking about the pluralism, open referentiality as a possible path to the Other. In other words, we are using the notion as a sort of tool that crosses the bridge between aesthetics and ethics.
