Jevrejski almanah 1955-1956 (Savez jevrejskih opština Jugoslavije)

Abstract

Drugi svezak "Jevrejskog almanaha" objavljen je kao dvostruki svezak za 1955 i 1956. godinu. Urednički tim želeo je da napravi tematski svezak koji je posvetio jubileju - desetogodišnjici obnove dela jevrejske zajednice u novoj Jugoslaviji. Članci evociraju najvažnije faze i događaje u staroj i novoj istoriji Saveza i zajednica, kao i nekoliko portreta značajnih i zaslužnih ličnosti iz naše sredine. Ovaj "Jevrejski almanah" svedoči i o vitalnosti naše desetkovane zajednice i odraz je njene povezanosti sa humanim i progresivnim razvojem jugoslovenske i jevrejske realnosti.

The second volume of the "Jewish Almanac" was published as a double volume for 1955 and 1956. The editorial team wanted to create a thematic volume dedicated to the jubilee - the 10th anniversary of the rebuilding of the Jewish community in the new Yugoslavia. The articles evoke the most important stages and events in the old and new history of the Association and the communities, as well as several portraits of significant and deserving figures from our midst. This "Jewish almanac" also testifies to the vitality of our decimated community and reflects its connection with the humane and progressive development of Yugoslav and Jewish realities.
