Abstract
In all of Jewish history, it seems that there is no other personality, except maybe Herzel, which is such a huge and so many-value literature as the case with Maimonides. The head of the Jewish community in Egypt and the rabbi, theologian and philosopher, astronomers and physician, Maimonides was the strongest and most versatile spiritual leader of his age and one of the most universal personalities of the cultural sphere of the Middle Ages. Therefore, it can be fully understood why it was given such a respectable place in the history of Jewish and world culture.
