Abstract

Deljatin je ukrajinski gradić sa oko 8400 stanovnika smešten u istorijskoj oblasti Galicija, u živopisnom pejzažu kao poslednja kapija pred Karpatima. Obiluje termalnim izvorima zbog kojih je veoma rano postao turističko mesto. Gradić je 1920-ih godina imao godišnje oko 1000 turista. U njemu se smestio mladi bračni par Glazer (Glaser) - Isak i Sofia rođena Fan, pripadnici građanskog sloja jevrejskih porodica. Tu im se nakon deset godina braka, 1924. godine rodila ćerka jedinica Pepina.... Ovo je kratka ali životnim okolnostima bogata lična i porodična priča o poslednjoj Jevrejki u Opštini Šid.

Delyatin is a Ukrainian town with about 8,400 inhabitants located in the historical region of Galicia, in a picturesque landscape as the last gate before the Carpathians. It is rich in thermal springs, which made it a tourist destination very early on. In the 1920s, Gradić had about 1,000 tourists a year. It accommodated the young couple Glazer (Glaser) - Isak and Sofia nee Fan, members of the middle class of Jewish families. After ten years of marriage, their daughter Pepina was born there in 1924... This is a short but rich personal and family story about the last Jewish woman in the Municipality of Šid.
