Abstract

Der Autor des Buches möchte die jüdischen Einwohner der Stadt Belgrad in die richtige Landschaft und den richtigen historischen Kontext stellen und führt uns durch die Kapitel. Und sie folgen chronologisch wichtigen historischen Stationen: Von Singidun bis Weissenburg / die Türkenzeit / das XIX. jahrhundert / im Königreich (Königreich SHS und Königreich Jugoslawien) / der Holocaust / gegenwart und zukunft. Für jedes dieser Kapitel werden allgemeine historische Umstände sowie der Status der Juden darin angegeben.

Želeći da jevrejske stanovnike grada Beograda postavi u pravi pejzažni i istorijski kontekst, autor knjige vodi nas kroz poglavlja. A ona hronološki prate važne istorijske etape: Od Singiduna do Vajzenburga / tursko vreme / 19. vek / u Kraljevstvu (Kraljevina SHS i Kraljevina Jugoslavija) / Holokaust / sadašnjost i budućnost. Za svako od tih poglavlja date su opšte istorijske okolnosti kao i status Jevreja u njima.

Wanting to place the Jewish inhabitants of the city of Belgrade in the right landscape and historical context, the author of the book guides us through the chapters. And they chronologically follow important historical stages: from Singidun to Weizenburg / Turkish times / 19th century / in the Kingdom (Kingdom of SHS and Kingdom of Yugoslavia ) / Holocaust / present and future. For each of these chapters, general historical circumstances are given as well as the status of Jews in them.
