Oneg Šabat i Gemilut Hasadim: svedočanstva iz Jevrejske 16
Oneg Shabbat and Gemilut Hasadim: testimonies from Jevrejska Street No. 16
Abstract

The basic goals of the society were reflected in the cultivation of charity and nobility among the members and the care of the sick and help in maintaining religious rites after the death of its members. All kinds of public gatherings were held in the building at Jevrejska Street number 16: concerts, lectures, weddings and religious festivities (Lag Baomer, Tubishvat, Purim, Hanukkah). There were offices of the youth associations Hashomer Hatzair, Magen David, Tehelet Lavan and the Home of Old Women and Old Men of Moses. During the war, part of the Jewish Hospital was located in it. After the Second World War, the building was sold and had another purpose.
