Abstract
Rabbi Daniel J. Danon thinks it would be very interesting and necessary to know more about the symbol of Magen David which has become a symbol of all Judaism. Magen David is found in all places where Jewish life is expressed: synagogues, Jewish schools, prayer books, textbooks, documents, circulars, ornaments, clothes, jewelry ... The Zionists used Magen David as a symbol of the Jewish nation, which is also on the national flag of Israel. Rabbi Danon cites and explains some of the interpretations of the origin and name of this symbol. One interpretation is that the six corners of Magen David point to six sides of the world - up, down, east, west, north, south and symbolize that God is all around us. It is named after David - the first king of Judah and Israel.
