U ovom radu dr Fišer govori o zanimljivoj istoriji jevrejske dijaspore u Aziji. Opisujući jezike, običaje, sinagoge, škole, zanate, pravni, socijalni i kluturni položaj jevrejskih zajednica u Palestini, Siriji, Jemenu, Mesopotamiji, Kurdistanu, Persiji, Afganistanu i Turkmenistanu, dr Fišer veoma upečatljivo predstavlja specifičnu, raznoliku i kompleksnu jevrejsku dijasporu.sr
Senior rabi Dr. Leopold Fischer has been collecting material on the Jewish diaspora for many years from numerous books, magazines, discussions, and articles. In the introductory part, he presents the facts and events from Jewish history that led the Jewish people to dispersion. Jewish independence ended in 586 BC with the demolition of Solomon's Temple in Jerusalem and the fall of the Jewish kingdom. That is when the great diaspora of Jews around the world began, but the significant presence of Jews outside Palestine and the formation of Jewish communities in the diaspora came only in the Hellenistic period. Although the Jewish diaspora began today after the demolition of Herod's (Second) Temple in Jerusalem in 70 AD, the Jews are the only people of the old world who managed to preserve their tradition and language. Due to various historical circumstances, they moved all over the world; a large number inhabited Europe, America, and Asia. In this paper, Dr. Fischer talks about the interesting history of the Jewish diaspora in Asia. Describing the languages, customs, synagogues, schools, crafts, legal, the social and cultural position of the Jewish communities in Palestine, Syria, Yemen, Mesopotamia, Kurdistan, Persia, Afghanistan and Turkmenistan, Dr. Fischer very impressively presents a specific, diverse and complex Jewish diaspora.sr
