Abstract
U granicama svojih mogućnosti i sposobnosti oni su u svim akcijama davali svoj obol; zato u Travniku nije bilo antisemitskih pojava, niti bilo kakvih akcija protiv Jevreja do pojave nacizma u staroj Jugoslaviji četrdesetih ...godina ovoga stoljeća".

"After the Jewish community of Sarajevo, the Jewish community in Travnik was the strongest in terms of numbers. Its origins date back to 1699 when Eugene of Savoy conquered Sarajevo. After the great fire that year, some Jews from Sarajevo began to move to Travnik. Their coming was growing from the time when it became the vizier's city. In the beginning, only some families and individuals without members of families came, so when they managed and created conditions for living and working in a new environment, then their individual relatives with family also immigrated. It can be freely said that the Jews in Travnik from their arrival until the fateful 1941 lived and worked in harmony with a lot of love and enthusiasm for the rise and development of spiritual and material culture - the prosperity of Travnik and its surroundings. Within the limits of their capabilities and abilities, they gave their contribution in all actions; that is why there were no anti-Semitic phenomena in Travnik, ...nor any actions against Jews until the emergence of Nazism in the old Yugoslavia in the 1940s".
