Tragovi sećanja i tragom prošlosti

Abstract

Knjiga "Graničnici sećanja - jevrejsko nasleđe i Holokaust" kroz svoja tri odeljka osvetljava mnoštvo linija koje povezuju narative post-sećanja i modalitete rekontrukcije i razumevanja prošlosti. Ovde predstavljene studije slučaja i teorijski pristupi kulturnom sećanju pokazuju raznovrsnost, bogatstvo i značaj studija sećanja i jevrejskih studija u Srbiji. Iako knjiga naglašava lokalne teme i izazove, ona takođe nedvosmisleno ukazuje na celovitost evropskog i svetskog kulturnog prostora, prošlosti, tragova i tvorbenika sećanja koji povezuju Jevreje i društva čijih su deo.

Through its three sections, the book "Graničnici sećanja - jevrejsko nasleđe i Holokaust" (Markers of Memory: Jewish Heritage and the Holocaust) illuminates many lines that connect post-memory narratives and modalities of reconstruction and understanding of the past. The case studies and theoretical approaches to cultural memory presented here, show the diversity, richness, and importance of memory studies and Jewish studies in Serbia. Although the book emphasizes local themes and challenges, it also unequivocally points to the integrity of the European and world cultural space, the past, the traces and memory makers that connect the Jews and the societies of which part they are.
