Dr. Bukic Pijade is from a poor Šabac family, which made him trouble to complete his medical studies in Vienna. Upon his return from Vienna, he opened a medical consulting room. He had a keen interest in journalism and was well known and respected in Belgrade journalistic circles. Bukić was a member of the editorial board of "Politika", in which he actively collaborated and published numerous articles in his field. He was a very active member of the Jewish community. In the dispute over the construction of the synagogue, it belonged to the "Mladoturci" movement, which won at the end. In November 1941 he was arrested and taken to a camp in Banjica. He worked as a doctor at the camp and made diagnoses that freed his campmates. However, due to difficult conditions and tragic events in the country, his health began to weaken. He died in September 1943. The paper provides a list of articles, lectures, and interviews by Dr. Buklć Pijade, according to the bibliographic data of the Lexicographic Institute from Zagreb.sr
