Čije je delo Novosadska racija. Prilog istoriji Jevreja u Bačkoj

Abstract

U istoriji evropskog jevrejstva zabeleženi su mnogi tragični događaji. Hitlerizam, za koji se na žalost ne može reći da je u celom svetu u potpunosti izgubio tlo pod nogama, uneo je u istoriju Jevreja na Starom kontinentu toliko tragičnih događaja da pored njih bledi i najsurovije orgijanje srednjovekovne inkvizicije. Teško je u nizu zverstava hitlerovskih dželata i njegovih saveznika, hortijevskih, ustaških, četničkih i drugih fašista izdvojiti najgnusnije zločine počinjene protiv pripadnika jevrejske nacije. Nesumnjivo je, međutim, da su novosadski Jevreji doživeli od 21. do 23. januara 1942. godine najgnusniji i najkrvaviji zločin koji su Hortijevi fašisti počinili za vreme svoje strahovlade. Početkom januara u selima Južne Bačke, organizovani su sistematski pogromi koje je okupator nazvao racijama, pročešljanjima, čišćenjima itd. Ubijani su Jevreji, Srbi, starci, žene i deca sve pod izgovorom borbe protiv partizanskih odreda. Pre svega treba odgovoriti na pitanje zašto je januara 1942. godine mađarski fašizam ovo uradio po šajkaškim selima i u Novom Sadu? Kome je to bilo potrebno? Ko je bio inspirator ovog nečuvenog masakra i da li je tadašnja civilna vlast učestvovala u sprovođenju ovog masovnog zločina? Kako su reagovali mađarska javnost, mađarski narod pa i zvanični mađarski krugovi na ova gnusna zlodela.

There are many tragic events recorded in the history of European Jewry. Hitlerism, which, unfortunately, cannot be said to have completely lost ground in the whole world, has brought into the history of the Jews on the Old Continent so many tragic events that the cruelest orgy of medieval inquisition fades beside them. It is difficult to distinguish among the atrocities of Hitler's executioners and his allies, the Horti, Ustasha, Chetnik and other fascists the most heinous crimes committed against members of the Jewish nation. It is undoubted, however, that the Jews of Novi Sad experienced from January 21 to January 23, 1942, the most heinous and bloodiest crime committed by the Horti fascists during their dread. At the beginning of January, there were systematic pogroms, which the occupier called perish, combing, cleaning, etc., in the villages of South Bačka. They killed Jews, Serbs, old men, women, and children on the pretext of fighting partisan detachments. First, the question must be answered why in January 1942 Hungarian fascism did this in the villages of Šajkaš and in Novi Sad? Who needed it? Who was the inspirer of this unprecedented massacre, and did the then civilian authorities participate in the commission of this mass crime? How did the Hungarian public, the Hungarian people and even the official Hungarian circles react to these heinous crimes?
