Dr David Albala kao jevrejski nacionalni radnik

Abstract

Dr David Albala bio je, pre svega, borac za dobro jevrejskog naroda. On je svoju delatnost širio na mnogo strana, ali jedna ideja kojoj je ostao veran kroz ceo život, kojoj je služio neprekidno i svim svojim snagama bila je jevrejstvo. U toku Prvog svetskog rata za vreme povlačenja srpske vojske, ovaj mladi lekar se jedva oporavio od teške iscrpenosti na otoku Krfu. Kao delegat srpske vlade kapetan Albala putuje u Sjedinjene Države sa ciljem da traži pomoć za malu "pregaženu" zemlju Srbiju. Njegova delatnost u Americi bila je svestrana i uspešna.

Dr. David Albala was, primarily, a fighter for the well of the Jewish people. He spread his business in many directions, but one idea he remained faithful to throughout his life, to which he served continuously and with all his might, was Jewishness. During the First World War during the withdrawal of the Serbian army, this young doctor barely recovered from severe exhaustion on the island of Corfu. As a delegate to the Serbian government, Captain Albala travels to the United States with the aim of seeking help for a small, run-down country Serbia. His business in America was versatile and successful.
