Moša Mevorah drew objects and landscapes from nature even in his childhood. At the age of fifteen, he began to attend the painting school of Mihajlo Petrović. During his stay in Vienna, he attended painting classes at the Technical College. He was a participant in the First World War and crossed the snow-covered mountains of Albania with the Serbian army in the winter of 1915. He took part in the breakthrough of the Salonika front. After the April bombing of Belgrade in 1941, he was mobilized into the Army of the Kingdom of Yugoslavia. The capitulation of Yugoslavia on April 17, 1941, found him on the Pale. He spent the next four years as a prisoner of war in the camps of the Reich. He survived and returned to his hometown in March 1945. By order of the Supreme Commander in 1947, he was promoted to reserve cavalry lieutenant colonel. With the first "Aliyah", which was organized by the Federation of Jewish Communities of Yugoslavia, in 1949 he moved to Israel. In Israel, he worked professionally as a painter.sr
