Zbornik 10: Studije, arhivska i memoarska građa o Jevrejima Jugoslavije, Jevrejski istorijski muzej - Beograd

Abstract

Pred čitaocima je jubilarni, deseti broj Zbornika Jevrejskog istorijskog muzeja. Izdavanje ove publikacije otpočelo je sada već daleke 1971. godine sa namerom da u njoj budu objavljivane naučne studije i istorijski izvori koji bi poslužili pisanju opšte istorije Jevreja Jugoslavije. Prvih šest brojeva Zbornika bili su tematskog karaktera i bili su posvećeni istoriji pojedinih jevrejskih zajednica, kao i njihovoj kulturi. Uporedo sa studijama, u posebnoj rubrici je objavljivana i memoarska građa. Sa sedmim brojem Zbornika odustalo se od tematskog koncepta, a od narednog broja nije postojala rubrika za memoarsku građu. I pored radikalno promenjene političke slike jugoslovenskog prostora i stvaranja (ili obnavljanja) nacionalnih država na njenom tlu devedesetih godina prošlog veka, osnovni koncept Zbornika nije promenjen. U njemu su i dalje objavljivane studije važne za istoriju i kulturu jevrejskih zajednica na tlu Jugoslavije od prvih tragova njihovog postojanja do najnovijeg doba obeleženog tragedijom Holokausta. Objavljivane studije su i dalje bile iz raznih naučnih disciplina pri čemu je nastavljeno kritičko objavljivanje važnih istorijskih izvora. To je koncept koji je zadržan i u najnovijem broju Zbornika. U njemu je uvedena rubrika Prilozi jer je uočena potreba da se prate istoriografska i književna produkcija, kao i umetničke manifestacije vezane za istoriju Jevreja. S obzirom na to da se objavljivanje Zbornika poklapa sa stogodišnjicom izbijanja i prve godine trajanja Velikog rata, u njemu su objavljeni i istorijski izvori vezani za učešće Jevreja u njemu čime se Redakcija pridružuje obeležavanju ovog značajnog jubileja.

The readers have before them the jubilee tenth Compendium of the Jewish Historical Museum. The Compendium was first published back in 1971, with the intention to present scientific studies and historical sources that could be used for writing the general history of Yugoslav Jews. The first six issues of the Compendium were thematic and dedicated to the history of individual Jewish communities and their culture. The studies published in the Compendium were also accompanied by separate sections presenting memoir materials. As of the seventh edition, the thematic approach was abandoned and no longer contained the section dedicated to memoir material. Despite the radical changes in the political scenery of the Yugoslav region and the creation (or recreation) of national states within its territory during the 1990s, the basic concept of the Compendium remained unchanged. It continues to publish studies of relevance for the history and culture of Jewish communities in the territory of Yugoslavia from the earliest traces of their existence until the most recent times, marked by the tragedy of the Holocaust. The published studies continue to tackle various scientific disciplines and Compendium. The section Appendices has been re-introduced, responding to the identified need to follow historiographic and literary productions and art events of relevance for the history of Jews. As the publication of the present Compendium coincides with the one-hundredth anniversary of the outbreak of the Great War and its first year, the Compendium is bringing historical sources related to the participation of Jews in the Great War, whereby the Editorial Board joins the general efforts to mark this major jubilee.
