Grobovi koji putuju: memorijalno jevrejsko groblje u Zrenjaninu

Abstract

Jevrejsko groblje u Zrenjaninu (nekadašnjem Velikom Bečkereku i Petrovgradu) otvoreno je 1828. godine i do danas je u dva navrata bilo premeštano sa jedne na drugu lokaciju. Prilikom poslednjeg izmeštanja 1986. godine, koje je bilo praćeno brojnim propustima i skandalima, nije sačinjen popis sahranjenih lica. Uz kratak istorijat seoba jevrejskog groblja i opis današnje lokacije, u radu su predstavljeni rezultati višemesečnog istraživačkog rada kojim se ova greška nastojala ispraviti. Pored mape samog groblja sa izrađenom sistematizacijom nadgrobnih spomenika, data su imena svih pokojnika u izvornoj (nemačkoj i mađarskoj) i srpskoj ortografiji, kao i topografska oznaka njihovog spomenika u okviru groblja.

The Jewish Cemetery in Zrenjanin (previously named Veliki Bečkerek and Petrovgrad) was opened in 1828, and has, in the meantime, been twice moved from one location to another. At the time of the most recent replacement, in 1986, which was accompanied by numerous weaknesses and scandals, no evidence was made of persons buried there. Along with a brief history of dislocation of the Jewish cemetery and a description of the present location, the paper presents the results of several months of research aimed at correcting this wrongdoing. The paper presents the layout of the cemetery itself and systematization of the grave-stones, listing the names of all those buried there in the original (German and Hungarian) and Serbian orthography, as well as the topographic markings of their grave-stones within the cemetery.
